“I meet with the client and try and get a good sense of where they are and what they are looking for. It is important to me to relate to people on a human level. It is also vital that the client “clicks” with me and feels that they can work with me. Finding a therapist is like finding a pair of shoes that fits just right. You may have to try several on to find that perfect fit. I like to give the client the power to hire me. I ask them at the end of every session if they want to come back. If for some reason we are not connecting, I am more than willing to refer them to another provider.”

Janna works from a strength based model. “Everyone has strengths, we just need to identify those and make them work for the client.” Janna uses a variety of treatment modalities, including; Cognitive Behavioral, Client Centered Therapy, Family Systems, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy.
